How to set grids on my own map

A few days ago, I purchased MapNav2 to create a tactical RPG(square type) like Final Fantasy Tactics.
Question is how to set grids(units can move on) on my own map.
Can I transform height of individual grids? Is there a tutorial?
If you have answered similar this question, it will be helpful that you show me URL.

Use the height tool option, in the MapNav object’s Inspector, to specify what collision/physics layer to check for “floor or ground” of your map. It can then calculate and place nodes (grid tiles) according to those height differences.

Have a look at the doc and included sample scenes and scripts for more information.
